Our Data Center Infrastructure org ensures seamless planning, operational readiness, and execution support for new and existing sites. The Operations & New DC Demand function is critical to ensuring that new data center leases are fully prepared, risk-free, and aligned with Lambda’s growth objectives.
What You’ll Do
As the Manager of Operations & New DC Demand, you will lead the team responsible for managing all business operational aspects of new data center leases, ensuring they progress smoothly and risks are mitigated. You will partner with DC Account Managers, Finance, Supplier Management, and the DC Infrastructure Engineering (DCIE) team to coordinate and support the delivery all business support aspects.
You will:
Lead, mentor, and grow the Data Center Business Services, Operations & New Demand team, setting priorities, providing guidance, and driving a high-performing culture.
Manage all work through the ticketing system (e.g., Jira), prioritizing, assigning, and shifting work across the team to ensure timely delivery and visibility into volumes.
Monitor team performance and review work proactively, solving problems when tasks are new, complex, or prone to error.
Support the team in managing challenging stakeholders who do not submit tickets cleanly or create delays, ensuring escalation paths and resolution processes prevent project risks.
Partner with Finance on BOMs for new leases, preparing Board of Director (BOD) decks, write-ups, and supporting executive decision-making.
Ensure all lease-related documents are signed and tracked in a single source, maintaining a comprehensive and auditable repository.
Collaborate with SAMs, AP, Finance, and internal stakeholders to ensure operational processes are aligned and executed without gaps that could delay a site or risk losing it.
Partner with the DCIE/construction team to ensure fit-out orders are reviewed, approved, and signed, with all necessary support from the Operations & New Demand team completed to prevent delays in the build.
Develop and maintain operational playbooks, Standard operating procedures and dashboards to standardize processes, monitor demand versus capacity, and drive scalable execution.
Serve as the escalation point for operational challenges, delays, or risks, ensuring continuous improvement across the team.
About You
Proven experience managing teams responsible for data center business operations, lease execution support, or infrastructure project coordination.
Strong experience with ticket management systems (e.g., Jira), including workload prioritization, tracking volumes, and shifting assignments as priorities change.
Excellent problem-solving skills, able to check team outputs, resolve complex issues, and implement process improvements.
Skilled at stakeholder management and escalation, particularly with teams or individuals whose inputs or processes could slow progress.
Experience managing documentation, ensuring all contracts, approvals, and supporting documents are collected, signed, and maintained in a single source.
Strategic and operational thinker, able to balance immediate execution with long-term scalability and risk management.
Collaborative, proactive, and capable of leading teams through high-growth, dynamic environments.
Experience supporting multi-site data center projects or high-demand infrastructure deployments.
Familiarity with DC lease agreements, approvals, and operational coordination.
Strong documentation, reporting, and process-building skills.
Experience supporting BOMS and BOD decks, including coordination with Finance for executive-level reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.

The annual salary range for this position has been set based on market data and other factors. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
