This role will be based in Mountain View, CA.
We are seeking a Sr. Manager of New Product Introduction (NPI) to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of complex hardware and infrastructure deployments. This individual will own the end-to-end NPI process, ensuring seamless transition from product concept to volume manufacturing and deployment across LinkedIn’s global data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings a balance of deep technical expertise, strategic vision, and strong cross-functional leadership.
Responsibilities:
Own the NPI Lifecycle: Lead the execution of all New Product Introduction programs, managing cross-functional teams through design, validation, ramp, and full-scale deployment of infrastructure hardware.
Cross-functional partnerships: Collaborate with Product, Hardware Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain Operations teams to ensure clear NPI milestones, risk mitigation, and timely product launches.
Technical Problem Solving - identify technical and operational risks early and lead to resolution efforts. Coordinate remediation and corrective actions as required.
OxM and Supplier partnerships: Establish robust processes to bring new designs into production, engaging early with suppliers and OxMs to optimize for cost, quality, and speed.
Lead Hardware Readiness for Scale: Own program timelines, technical readiness, resource planning, and performance metrics across multiple concurrent NPI initiatives including translating engineering prototypes into scalable products.
Continuous Improvement: Develop and refine scalable NPI processes and systems, driving efficiency and repeatability across future hardware development cycles.
Risk Management and Escalation: Identify and manage program risks, driving timely resolution of technical and operational issues through structured problem-solving and executive alignment.
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in hardware NPI, supply chain operations, or infrastructure program management.
5+ years of experience leading cross-functional technical programs or teams in a high-scale environment.
Experience in managing vendor relationships, including component sourcing, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
Experience with hardware manufacturing processes, product validation, and production ramp.
Experience collaborating with hardware design, reliability, and test engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with hyperscale infrastructure and data center hardware (Compute, GPU, Storage).
Ability to work closely with C-level executives, particularly in the OxM and Supplier space, to ensure alignment on NPI roadmaps and best in class pricing/availability
Deep understanding of product lifecycle management and NPI stage-gate processes.
Ability to scale hardware solutions from prototype to global deployment.
Strong communication skills with a track record of influencing executive stakeholders.
Experience managing programs involving geographically distributed teams and vendors.
Demonstrated ability to drive cost reduction, supply risk mitigation, and process standardization across NPI programs.

The pay range for this role is $181,000 to $297,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
