Team Introduction
The Tinder Seoul team aims to enhance the overall matching quality on Tinder by improving the user-personalized recommendation experience. The Product Manager leads the entire process from strategy formulation to execution, considering both global user experience and business impact. This position will serve as a bridge between the Korean engineering team and the US headquarters, working in close collaboration with global teams.
Responsibilities Lead and Execute Core Recommendation Roadmap: Lead content strategy and feature planning related to profiles to enable users to express themselves more easily and create new connections. Establish and Experiment with Data-Driven Strategies: Develop hypotheses to increase user engagement and matching quality, and derive product improvement directions through experimental design and result analysis. Global Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with PM, ML, Design, Data Science, and Marketing teams at the US headquarters to design user-centric products, and communicate with various stakeholders to coordinate priorities. User-Centric Design: Analyze user behavior data and reflect UX research results to plan and implement features that users can empathize with and be satisfied with. Expand Product Influence: Design the recommendation experience to positively impact the overall user experience of Tinder, and make decisions considering the connectivity between features and long-term scalability. RequirementsExcellent English communication skills are a must. 5+ years of Product Manager experience in global B2C services or high-growth tech companies. Experience in suggesting and executing ideas based on user-centric thinking and exceptional product sense. Basic knowledge of design tools such as Figma and ability to design wireframes/ whiteboarding. Experience leading the planning and launch of iOS, Android, and Web-based products. Experience in data-driven decision-making through A/B test design and quantitative/qualitative analysis. Ability to predict and proactively respond to risks that may arise early in the product lifecycle. Strong leadership skills with a self-driven and proactive mindset. Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across diverse teams and cultures. $ - $ a year
