Product Strategy Lead - Cloud & Ecosystem for Simulink

Job Summary

MathWorks is seeking a strategic and technically strong Product Strategy Lead to drive the evolution of our Model-Based Design products within a connected ecosystem of third-party tools. This blended product management and product marketing role focuses on enabling workflows across cloud platforms, version control systems, and requirements management tools.

You will define product strategy, guide integration efforts, and collaborate across teams to ensure MathWorks tools are central to cloud-native engineering workflows in industries such as aerospace, automotive, industrial automation, and medical devices.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute strategy for enabling Model-Based Design workflows in cloud and SaaS environments
  • Drive integration with third-party tools including GitHub, GitLab, Jama, Polarion, and others
  • Collaborate with development teams to influence product roadmaps and prioritize cloud-native capabilities
  • Develop messaging and positioning that highlights the value of connected engineering workflows
  • Engage with strategic customers to understand cloud adoption trends and integration needs
  • Support sales and marketing teams with technical content, demos, and enablement materials
  • Monitor industry trends in DevOps, requirements management, and cloud engineering to inform strategy
  • Build relationships with ecosystem partners to expand interoperability and joint value propositions

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

Additional Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Simulink and Model-Based Design
  • Experience with cloud platforms, SaaS delivery models, and DevOps workflows
  • Familiarity with version control systems and requirements management tools
  • Proven ability to define product strategy and drive cross-functional execution
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Analytical personality with strong overall marketing, research, and planning skills
