Job Summary
Do you want to investigate some of the latest mobile communications techniques? Are you interested in deep learning? Do you want to be part of a team of experts in wireless communications? If you answered yes, we would like to hear from you.
As part of our team you will investigate the suitability of deep learning to 5G & 6G systems. You will receive hands on training on the use of MathWorks products and have the opportunity to work with the developers.
Responsibilities
You will work with the wireless standards modelling development team in the area of 5G & 6G. Your responsibilities will include:

Investigate the latest deep learning techniques inclduing Generative AI and agentic workflows for wireless communications

Understand their advantages and disadvantages

Write simulation models for these techniques

Evaluate the performance of these techniques in a 5G/6G environment

Support the development and maintenance effort of our existing products

Present your findings and models to development teams and customer facing engineers
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidates must be pursuing a master's level or a PhD level degree in a technical discipline.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience in Deep Learning techniques
- Experience in Signal processing and Communication systems
- Knowledge of 5G, 6G, LTE and/or WLAN systems is a plus
- Knowledge of Generative AI and agentic workflows is a plus
