Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate Quality Engineer (QE) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by designing robust testing strategies, implementing automation frameworks, and collaborating closely with development teams. Responsibilities
- Work closely with engineering teams in an agile environment to analyze requirements, discuss software design, and develop testing strategies to meet quality goals.
- Develop robust test automation frameworks and class libraries for UI, API, and integration layers using Java, JavaScript, and Cypress.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployment cycles.
- Perform functional, system, and regression testing for web applications and REST APIs.
- Partner with QE teams to create tools that improve testing efficiency and reliability.
- Contribute ideas and solutions that drive quality across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
- Proficiency with Java
Additional Qualifications
- Excellent understanding of software quality fundamentals and principles.
- Demonstrated experience in authoring comprehensive testing strategies, test plans for multi-tier web applications and APIs.
- Strong programming skills in Java and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Cypress for UI automation.
- Proficient in functional testing and automation of RESTful APIs.
- Experience with build tools such as Maven, CI/CD tools such as Gitlab/TeamCity.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with SaaS platforms such as Salesforce or Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a plus
