Software Engineer in Test

Job Summary

Use a cloud-based technology stack to design and implement automated test frameworks. Create automated test suites to ensure code accuracy and optimization. Employ tools like Terratest and GoLang to update BaT testing infrastructure and enhance the qualify of cloud services. Research and integrate new techniques for cloud and infrastructure testing. Partner with BAT development teams to improve current testing infrastructure and streamline qualification processes, such as implementing CI/CD and setting up code coverage. Collaborate with the development team to establish observability metrics for advanced tools to gain deeper insights. Responsible for formulating testing strategies and test infrastructure. Develop and integrate automated testing into the build and release processes.

May telecommute up to 40%.

Rate of Pay: $131,082.00 to $153,100.00 per year

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering [any], or related field and no experience.

Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering [any], or a related field and [3] three years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer in Test-related occupation.

Position requires demonstrable experience with the following:

1. Programming experience with Java, JavaScript, or other scripting language;
2. Knowledge of distributed or cloud computing;
3. Managing configurations with shell scripts on both Linux and Window systems;
4. Automated test development and continuous integration systems; and
5. Software Configuration Management tools like Perforce, Git, or similar.
