Product Designer Responsibilities
  • Design digital user interfaces, create graphics, and design new experiences or layouts that evolve and/or define visual systems for web-based applications and technologies with a focus on aesthetics and design.
  • Take broad, conceptual ideas and create design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant for supported platforms.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, UX researchers and content strategists to iterate and oversee user experience of a product from conception to launch.
  • Proactively identify critical business and user problems, scope projects to address them, and drive project outcomes while influencing leadership to form alignment.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
  • Requires 2 years of experience in the following:
  • 1. Building and shipping applications or software at the level of whole features or products across a variety of platforms
  • 2. Proactively identifying critical business and user problems, exercising independent judgment in methods, techniques, and success criteria to address them
  • 3. Scoping and leading high-impact projects that span multiple pillars, targeting metrics shared by diverse leadership priorities to drive organizational outcomes
  • 4. Interaction design, including defining how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs
  • 5. Prototyping
  • 6. Visual design, including typography, desktop or mobile user interface, color, layout, and iconography
  • 7. Understanding product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to internal and external users
  • 8. Creating user flow and mockups to articulate design concepts
  • 9. Defining product specifications and user experiences
  • 10. Influencing stakeholders and leadership to form alignments on broader organizational directions and projects through strong communication skills
  • 11. Planning and executing user research studies to identify gaps, discover new opportunities, and scope product directions
  • 12. Understanding and interpreting user research and usability testing
  • 13. Conducting end to end design process across multiple projects including interaction and visual design artifacts and high-fidelity prototypes and
  • 14. Facilitate design workshops.

$210,180/year to $223,850/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
