Meta is looking for an exceptional and visionary leader to join our Trust & Safety organization as the Head of Content Integrity. This is a truly critical and high-impact leadership role where you'll define and execute the strategy to safeguard the integrity of content across all Meta platforms – encompassing both organic content and advertising (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Threads, and more). You'll lead a significant and complex organization, fostering a high-performing team dedicated to protecting our users from harmful content, building profound trust, and maintaining the safety and vibrancy of our global community. This position demands a deep understanding of online content ecosystems, trust and safety principles, and policy enforcement at a massive scale with AI/LLMs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex, strategic initiatives, building robust cross-functional partnerships, and delivering impactful results in the trust and safety domain within a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment. Navigating intricate global challenges and influence at the highest levels will be paramount.
Director of Product Management, Content Integrity Trust & Safety Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision & Execution: Develop and drive the overarching strategy for content integrity across all Meta platforms and surfaces, including both organic content and advertisements. Your work will directly align with Meta's core priorities and adapt to the ever-evolving threat landscape.
- Enforcement: Spearhead the development, iteration, and consistent application of Meta's content policies. This includes, but isn't limited to, crucial areas such as scams and fraud, hate speech, harassment, bullying, misinformation and disinformation, illicit goods and activities.
- Organizational Leadership & Development: Lead and develop a large, multi-layered organization of PMs. Recruit, mentor, and foster the growth of content integrity PMs, building a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all levels of your teams. You will be responsible for leading and scaling director level leaders.
- Cross-Functional & Ecosystem Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Legal, Policy, Research, Communications, and other Trust & Safety teams (including App Product Teams and Ads teams) to design and implement scalable, impactful solutions for complex content integrity challenges across both organic and ads ecosystems. Influencing and aligning diverse stakeholders is key.
- Operational Excellence at Scale: Oversee the development of AI/LLM systems, operational workflows, sophisticated tools, and robust processes used to identify, review, and act on problematic content in both organic and advertising contexts, continuously driving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Data-Driven Insights & Innovation: Utilize comprehensive data and advanced analytics to understand content integrity trends, measure the effectiveness of interventions, identify systemic gaps, and drive innovative solutions across all content types.
- Proactive Risk Management: Proactively identify and assess emerging content integrity risks, developing robust mitigation strategies and communicating potential impacts to leadership, considering both organic and advertising vectors. This role is central to safeguarding Meta's reputation and user trust.
- External Engagement & Representation: Represent Meta in crucial discussions with external stakeholders, including industry partners, NGOs, researchers, and government bodies, on matters related to content integrity and online safety, covering both organic and ads concerns.
- Crisis Leadership: Lead critical content integrity responses during high-stakes incidents, ensuring swift, decisive, and effective action across all content types.
