Product Designer Responsibilities
  • Design and develop solutions to applications and digital user interfaces.
  • Duties include: Build and ship applications or software at the level of whole features across a variety of platforms.
  • Take broad, conceptual ideas and create design flows and experiences that are suitable for supported platforms.
  • Prototype to demonstrate how a particular flow or interaction will work.
  • Create graphics, and design new experiences or layouts that evolve or define visual systems for web-based applications and technologies with a focus on aesthetics and design.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, UX researchers and content strategists to iterate and oversee user experience of a product from conception to launch.
  • Craft designs within existing system and standards.
  • Work on application and design problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires review of a variety of factors.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Information, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, Applied Sciences, or a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Requires 1 year of experience in the following:
  • 1. Building and shipping applications or software at the level of whole features or products across a variety of platforms
  • 2. Interaction design, including defining how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs
  • 3. Prototyping
  • 4. Visual design, including typography, desktop or mobile user interface, color, layout, and iconography
  • 5. Understanding product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to internal and external users
  • 6. Creating user flow and mockups to articulate design concepts
  • 7. Defining product specifications and user experiences
  • 8. Understanding and interpreting user research and usability testing and
  • 9. Conducting end-to-end design process across multiple projects including interaction and visual design artifacts and high fidelity prototypes.

$163,599/year to $183,370/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
