Senior Data Scientist Responsibilities
  • Works on complex projects where analysis of situations and decision making requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Receives directional guidance
  • Work is done independently, reviewed upon completion, and influences team level goals and objectives.
  • Influences outcomes in cross functional settings.
  • Contributes to community through organizational efforts to build and sustain diversity, culture, recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and/or development programs.
  • Networks with key internal and external contacts and uses persuasion in delivering messages, mostly within own area of expertise and sometimes outside.
  • Advises team and XFN partners on complex matters in a product/business area.
  • Takes a broad perspective to problems and exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Engages leaders to gain buy-in and support for a new direction or opportunity.
  • Contributes to setting team level goals.
  • Identifies, explains, and acts on own strengths and development needs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Applied Sciences, or a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
  • Experience must include 1 year of experience in the following:
  • 1. Performing quantitative analysis including data mining on highly complex data sets
  • 2. Data querying language: SQL
  • 3. Scripting language: Python
  • 4. Statistical or mathematical software including one of the following: R, SAS, or Matlab
  • 5. Applied statistics or experimentation, such as A/B testing, in an industry setting
  • 6. Machine learning techniques
  • 7. ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
  • 8. Relational databases and
  • 9. Quantitative analysis techniques, including one of the following: clustering, regression, pattern recognition, or descriptive and inferential statistics.

$223,021/year to $235,400/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
