The AR glasses product line is one of Meta Reality Labs' most ambitious programs, with equal parts product-market fit exploration and groundbreaking innovation, redefining what is possible for AI, AR, and the next generation of computing. We’ve announced Orion, an internal AR glasses product, allowing us to learn, iterate and build towards our consumer AR glasses product line. Now we’re working on next-generation products and are looking for a PM whose priority is to develop the devices and programs that enable the ecosystem to power this next generation of computing. This person will work with cross-functional teams of hardware and software engineers, product design, product management, ecosystem, and business development partners. We’re looking for Product Managers that lead with clear vision and conviction and drive thoughtful execution while moving quickly.
Product Manager - Devices Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading a product area
- Defining success metrics, prioritizing product problems and identifying the best strategies for the product, aligned with the organizational goals. Adapt and adjust your strategy to reflect learnings and changes in the product
- Work with a cross-functional team to define a product, develop a roadmap and drive progress against goals and milestones and resolve challenges and blockers, while maintaining team health
- Gather and analyze user research and market analysis to inform product decisions and influence the wider product organization
- Manage tradeoffs between customer experience, schedule, risks, and cost
- Coordinate proactively across partner functions for product success. Structure shared roadmaps for best outcomes
- Communicate product strategy and progress with clarity to all stakeholders
- Provide mentorship and coaching to other Product Managers and cross-functional team members
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years product management or related industry experience
- 2+ years experience working on hardware projects or adjacent projects delivering into device programs
- Experience working with a cross-functional product team on a significant product area: Crafting product vision and strategy, defining product requirements, coordinating resources from other groups (marketing, legal, etc.), and driving the team to achieve key milestones and goals
- Experience managing a product through multiple product life cycle phases, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and pre/post-launch execution
- Proven experience to drive a material change in the performance of a product and the effectiveness of the team that delivers that product
- Demonstrated experience to analyze large scale, complex data sets and making effective decisions based on data
- Experience integrating a broad range of requirements from a broad set of users as well as context into a single coherent product strategy
- Proven communication skills
- Displaying effective leadership, organizational and execution skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in consumer devices
- Experience managing delivery of one or more hardware products
- Experience working with developer platforms, frameworks and ecosystems
- Experience identifying significant opportunities, and driving product vision, strategies and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals
- Adaptive to constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm

$142,000/year to $201,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
