Meta XR Tech Team brings together a world-class team of researchers, developers, and engineers to create the future of Wearables and VR, which together will become as universal and essential as smartphones and personal computers are today. We are seeking Technical Program Managers to solve the next generation challenges on the path to building future machine perception enabled technologies. This role focuses on formulating a new generation of end-to-end real-time 3D scene understanding systems working across novel mobile sensor design, sensor fusion, state estimation, computer vision, large-scale reconstruction and localization, as well as large-scale online inference and optimization.
Technical Program Manager - Camera Image Quality - XR Tech Responsibilities
  • Define program requirements, deliverables, schedule and track progress, coordinate collaborations with other internal teams as well as manage partner and vendor relationships for Camera Image Quality across VR / Wearables products
  • Develop project goals and schedules based on product requirements, technical challenges, and business needs
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the program
  • Help drive the team to solve the hard problems and debug complex, system-level, multi-component and feature level issues to unblock Camera Image Quality team execution
  • Gain understanding of program level requirements on HW/SW timeline. Help collect, synthesize, and communicate program level operational requirements between cross-functional teams, and ensure Camera Image Quality delivery follows program requirements in terms of schedule and process
  • Distill complex topics into clear communications to program stakeholders
  • Up to 10% travel
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years of program management experience with demonstrated communication & presentation skills
  • Embedded Camera software pipeline structure and development planning background
  • Experience leading a team from concept to deployment
  • Project management, leadership, dependency management and cross-group collaboration experience across more than one geographic location
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with a cross-disciplinary team of researchers, software engineers and hardware engineers
  • Mobile Camera software/Image Signal Processing or equivalent embedded software integration background

$167,000/year to $230,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
