As a Principal Engineering Manager, you will manage a team of Engineers and collaborate with a diverse multi-discipline, multi-site team to deliver end-to-end solutions and end user experiences across the M365 ecosystem. These experiences are built upon a highly scalable Azure service architecture, featuring a React-based UI that will delight our customers.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related technical discipline
  • Extensive experience coding in one or more high level languages including, but not limited to Python, C#, Java
  • Experience managing a high performing Engineering Team and experience with cross team collaboration and stakeholder management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading engineering teams in building customer-facing products, with a strong foundation in cloud-native architecture, microservices and agentic solutions
  • Experience with Agent based architectures, frameworks and technologies (such as MCP, A2A protocol, Langchain, Azure AI Foundry)
  • Proficiency in Python for data science workflows, leveraging libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, Matplotlib, and Jupyter for data analysis, experimentation, and rapid prototyping
  • Experienced in web application development frameworks, such as React
  • Experience delivering a Cloud SaaS product on Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID for identity and access management in enterprise environments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across disciplines and partner teams

This role demands a blend of people management skills, artificial intelligence expertise and full-stack development skills to contribute to all phases of our product lifecycle, from conception to deployment. You'll partner with our product and design teams and other parts of the organization to deliver on the Agent Cloud vision.

  • Manage a team implementing, evaluating, and deploying AI-powered applications and services

  • Guides within team and across teams on producing extensible, maintainable, well-tested, secure, and performant code that adheres to design specifications. Leads efforts to continuously improve code performance, testability, maintainability, effectiveness, and cost, while learning about and accounting for relevant trade-offs.
  • Stay current with emerging research, tools, and frameworks in AI/ML to drive innovation.
  • Guides teams on and leads identifying dependencies and incorporating them into the development of design documents for a product, application, service, or platform.
  • Conduct experiments, analyze results, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
