As a Product Marketing Specialist in the Surface Marketing team, you will work across several teams internally and externally to execute co-marketing relationships and partnerships with brands and influencers to grow Surface’s reach. Audience and target markets include Genz, Students, Parents, Entrepreneurs, Creators and Small Business through inventive campaigns. Your key responsibilities include driving successful coordination of go-to-market efforts while collaborating with product marketing, integrated marketing, and social teams across initiatives that highlight the unique features and benefits of Microsoft Surface products.

This role requires someone that is detail oriented and strong in project management. You must be able to track work across cross-functional teams, guiding the integration of partner requirements, including those involving influencers, across the organization. You’ll gain hands-on experience in the creator economy, partnership development, campaign management, and brand storytelling, bridging creativity and hands-on execution in a dynamic tech environment. This role requires a minimum of 3 days / week in our redmond office.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications (RQs)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Digital Marketing and/or Social Media Marketing.

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience.

Product Marketing IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $68,300 - $137,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $93,200 - $151,200 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Product Marketing, Integrated Marketing teams, Channel Marketing and Field marketing to roll out partnership campaigns with influencers, brands and partners that drive engagement and preference among consumer and small business segments.
  • Build campaign briefs, creative assets, and project timelines, ensuring that messaging and execution align with Surface’s brand vision and the needs of both consumer and small businesses customers.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance using digital analytics tools, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to optimize reach, engagement, and conversion across channels.
  • Stay updated on digital marketing trends, best practices, and the evolving partnership landscape to inform campaign innovation and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to compelling storytelling by capturing customer and partner experiences that illustrate Surface’s impact for both individual consumers and small business owners.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with product, social, field, and retail marketing teams to amplify creator campaigns across the organization.
