Overview

We are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) who specializes in data platforms and analytics to help customers build secure, scalable, and AI-ready solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role will initially have focus on Power BI & fabric, then expand into the wider data domain over time.

In this customer-facing role, you’ll support projects that include solution design, proof of concepts, and helping customers move to production. Your focus will be on ensuring solutions are reliable, secure, and perform well across important workloads.

As part of the Cloud + AI Data team, you’ll work with technologies like Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Cosmos DB, and Purview. You’ll use existing tools and best practices to help deliver successful deployments and accelerate adoption.

You’ll collaborate closely with engineering teams, share learnings, and stay up to date on new trends so you can help customers get the most value from their data and AI investments.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND a couple years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
  • Data platforms and analytics experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND a few years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND a couple of years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
  • Proven experience working on technical projects.
  • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
  • Norwegian and English Fluency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with key customer IT and business decision makers to understand their data estate, priorities, and success measures, with a primary focus on designing secure, scalable Data & AI solutions centered around Power BI within Microsoft Fabric. Over time, expand your impact across the broader data domain, including Azure Databricks, databases, data governance, and AI.
  • Assist in designing and implementing Power BI solutions and contribute to broader data areas like Azure Databricks, databases, and data governance.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and help create Data & Analytics roadmaps.
  • Support Proof of Concepts (POCs) and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to accelerate adoption of Power BI.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Share best practices and reusable assets to help customers get the most value from Microsoft solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize Power BI solutions for performance and governance.
  • Troubleshoot issues that block project go-live and assist in technical conversations with customers.
  • Stay up to date on Power BI and Microsoft’s evolving data and AI capabilities.
  • Continuously learn and develop skills, engaging with communities and contributing to knowledge sharing.
  • Work toward certifications in key technologies such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and related data services.
