We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Program Manager to join us in supporting our Channel Partner (CP) organization and drive technical excellence and operational efficiency across partner platforms and sales processes.

The Impact You’ll Be Making

This role applies a single technical skillset across platform development and Sales Excellence automation, directly supporting the Channel Partner business by enabling secure, scalable, and locally compliant tools. It positions the organization to expand capabilities into other partner motions in the future and ensures the continuous evolution of CP platforms and processes to meet changing business needs and strategic priorities. By enabling automation and reducing manual overhead, this role supports the Sales Excellence strategy and frees leadership capacity for strategic builds.

Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in technical program management, platform development and/or automation.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical coding at Level 100 in C#, Javascript and SQL

Additional or preferred qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 8+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 12+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.
  • Solid understanding of security compliance and scalable architecture.
  • Experience with sales operations, data pipelines, and business planning tools.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and partner teams.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Passion for innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility to accommodate change and thrive amid ambiguity.
  • Technical experience with Python, Typescript, React

Business Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Excellence Automation & Operational Support
    • Build data pipelines on existing frameworks and dashboards to improve speed, accuracy, and transparency for segmentation, territory planning, and quota setting.
    • Automate reporting and insights to streamline Rhythm of Business (RoB) activities and reduce manual preparation.
    • Connect business planning with sales data to improve plan quality and ensure higher-quality inputs into the business.
    • Create automated checks, analytics, and visualizations to track plan quality, adherence to standards, and pipeline KPIs.
    • Integrate sales team feedback into partner frameworks and stakeholder processes to improve usability, adoption, and efficiency.
  • Technical Development & Platform Management
    • Develop and adapt internal tools for GPRM and market expansion.
      Implement latest security and compliance requirements for all tools.
    • Maintain and enhance existing functionalities; ensure stability and scalability.
    • Support building new solutions based on business needs or stakeholder requests.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams for larger development requests.
  • Key Deliverables in First 12 Months
    • China-ready Athena/Cronus functionalities meeting local compliance and security needs.
    • 3–1 automation solutions for Sales Excellence processes (segmentation, RoB, pipeline health).
    • Document maintainable code for all new and existing tools.
    • Reduce manual operational work through automation.
    • Parallel delivery model to accelerate timelines.
  • Working Model
    • Split priorities: FSE focuses on strategy, new architecture, and high-impact builds; this role manages defined functionalities, maintenance, and parallel development.
    • Take on technical and automation tasks as assigned to ensure delivery across partner (CP/GPRM) priorities.
    • Have regular syncs to align on priorities and stakeholder needs.
