Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years' experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years' experience with VMware technologies including ESXi, vCenter, NSX, and vSAN OR exposure to cloud computing platforms—preferably Azure, but AWS or GCP experience is also valued.

Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
    • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • 2+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
  • Interest or experience in AI-driven infrastructure management and workload optimization.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.


Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.

  • Define and execute product strategy for mission-critical workloads on Azure, aligning roadmap priorities with customer and business needs.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, UX, marketing, and partner teams to deliver seamless customer experiences and accelerate adoption.
  • Champion customer success and operational excellence by surfacing insights, managing resiliency risks, and improving product quality through telemetry and feedback loops.
