As Group Product Manager - Growth and Data Platform, you will own the strategy and execution for Teams analytics and growth platforms, empowering every engineer, designer, and product manager to understand user behavior and deliver experiences customers love.

This role combines product vision, technical depth, and leadership. You will drive adoption of AI-infused analytics, intuitive engagement surfaces, and industry-leading data technologies—creating a foundation for insights at scale across Teams and M365.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years people management experience.
  • 5+ years experience leading mission critical initiatives involving collaboration with stakeholders across multiple companies and industries.
  • 5+ years experience applying design thinking to complex problems, combined with solid product management knowledge.
  • 5+ years demonstrated ability of analytical thinking, disciplined problem solving and data analysis skills.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 15+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
  • 8+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • 8+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g.,. competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
  • Demonstrated ability to attract, retain and develop talent.

Product Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $163,000 - $296,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $220,800 - $331,200 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Defines and executes strategy for Teams analytics and growth platforms, ensuring alignment with Microsoft’s broader data initiatives.
  • Leads and mentors Product Management team, fostering a culture of curiosity, customer obsession, and agility.
  • Partners across Engineering, Data Science, and Product teams to deliver a unified technical vision and roadmap.
  • Establishes Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and measurement frameworks to track impact and accelerate data-driven outcomes.
  • Champions platform adoption by building intuitive, scalable solutions that empower internal teams and unlock customer value.
