Enterprise Partner Solutions, part of Microsoft’s Industry & Partner Sales (IPS) organization, is accountable for building and co-selling innovative Microsoft Cloud & AI solutions and services, with our global Enterprise partners. Our Enterprise partner portfolio includes global systems integrators, advisories, high-value management consultancies (SI), independent software vendors (ISV) and software development companies - working together to empower people and organizations to achieve more.
As an ISV Partner Technology Strategist, you will own the technical strategy across a portfolio of software partners—guiding solution design on Azure, integrating AI and data technologies, Microsoft Copilot and the Microsoft Clouds, and driving product readiness for enterprise customers. You’ll orchestrate technical plans from architecture to validation, remove adoption blockers, and accelerate market scale through the Microsoft commercial marketplace and co-sell motions. Your responsibilities as the Partner Technology Strategist will include influencing the partner’s cloud strategy, leading cloud transformation, fostering innovation, building relationships, and providing technical guidance as a trusted advisor. By doing so, you will empower our partners to deliver exceptional ROI (return on investment) to their customers while driving business growth and innovation.

Qualifications
Required (RQs)
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND a proven track record in technical consulting, technical consultative selling, product development, or related technical/sales experience OR
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND technical consulting, technical consultative selling, product development, or related technical/sales experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- An accomplished career in technology IP solutions or services development, with a deep understanding of digital transformation business drivers, cloud platforms, and emerging cloud trends like generative AI (ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE) and SaaS (Software as a Service) services. Strong background and in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, with a focus on Microsoft's cloud offerings (Azure, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365). Experience in cloud architecture, migration, and optimization is highly desirable

- Extensive experience with relevant technologies (e.g., cloud, infrastructure, Microsoft platform)
- Knowledge of the Microsoft AI and Microsoft Data technologies and wider tech platform, project management, technical sales, and technical account management.
Responsibilities
- As a Partner Technology Strategist (PTS), you will serve as the technical owner of your partners’ business solutions. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to align their technology roadmap with Microsoft’s cloud offerings - understanding their business objectives, offering strategic guidance, and helping them unlock the full potential of the Microsoft cloud.
- You’ll lead partners through complex cloud transformation journeys, applying a Technical Sales Challenger mindset to challenge the status quo. Your role will be to champion innovative cloud technologies, like Copilot, AI, Agentic AI and Security, to accelerate time to market, and uncover new business opportunities that drive mutual success for Microsoft and Partners.
- You’ll contribute to fostering a culture of innovation by inspiring partners to adopt a tech-intensity mindset. Staying ahead of emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices, you’ll provide thought leadership, encourage and guide partners on how to differentiate and drive transformative change.
- You’ll build trusted relationships with your partner’s C-suite, CTOs, executives, and technical teams. By fostering collaboration, trust, and open communication, you’ll ensure strategic alignment and long-term partnership success.
- Your leadership capabilities will help you drive business growth, foster innovation, and navigate complex organizational landscapes. You’ll be required to collaborate effectively, resolve conflicts, and ensure follow-through on strategic initiatives.
- You’ll be taking a strategic role - aligning technology solutions with business goals, contributing to the development of technology roadmaps, and supporting partners with actionable recommendations. A strong foundation in technical problem-solving, business acumen, and a passion for learning will help you succeed and evolve in this role.
- Your strategic thinking and deep understanding of business strategy will enable you to lead technology adoption, resolve technical blockers, and envision groundbreaking capabilities. You’ll be required to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
