Commerce + Ecosystems (C+E) is responsible for enabling and optimizing the end-to-end customer journey on the Microsoft Cloud.

C+E’s Commerce Financial Platforms (CFP) team is responsible for Financial Platforms, Global Payments & Cash, Employee Financial Experiences, and C+E Governance, and also develops and operates financial commerce platforms and tools that perform all revenue management functions for our customers, partners, and staff worldwide.

Overview of the role:

As part of Finance Experiences (FinEx) Procurement team in CFP, as an SAP MM (Materials Management) Functional Analyst, you will be personally involved in leading the design, configuring the business requirements & features that enable our mission critical business partners. You will work closely with peers across teams (inside FinEx and across the company) to help build flexible and high-performing SAP Procurement Solutions that enable next generation of business services. This is a data-driven and fast paced environment - where Functional Analysts are empowered to innovate and take ideas from conception to scale. A Functional Analyst is accountable for solution design working with Product Owners, ABAP Programmers, Businesses partners, product groups, and other CFP SAP teams to ensure that ERP solutions are delivered, aligned to the Technology Roadmaps which are aligned to the business roadmaps and future business scenarios.

An MM Functional Analyst must quickly establish the trust and confidence of our business partners by developing:

  • Deep understanding of Source to Pay System landscape & Business process knowledge
  • Support the Source to Pay Service lines by addressing the pain points and leveraging the opportunities to improve systems and processes
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key Business users to deliver reliable, supportable business solutions
  • Demonstrate ability to learn and adopt relevant new technologies, tools, methods and processes from Microsoft and industry.
  • Provide problem-solving, technical innovation, and attention to detail.

The Microsoft implementation of SAP is a large-scale enterprise solution featuring SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8 (FI-CO, SD, SCM, HCM, GTS). The journey to upgrade to S/4 HANA has begun at corporate level. FinEx Procurement has also embarked on its transformation journey with Ariba B&I implementation project which begun recently. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are motivated to grow their careers in SAP and Microsoft technologies. The individual hired for this position will implement solutions for Procurement service line using Ariba & SAP technology.

A Functional Analyst must possess detailed working knowledge of Standard ERP and Best in Class for the Source to Pay process areas. They should independently drive for results and consistently meet deliverables on projects with aggressive timelines.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements (Must Have)

· BE/BTech or MBA.

· A minimum of 5-8 years’ experience as an SAP Materials Management Functional Analyst, Solution architect or SME with strong understanding of Source to Pay business processes.

· Experience in working on large scale global enterprise implementations with hands on experience in customization/configuration of Source to Pay domain –>

o In SAP S/4 HANA like Material Master, Procurement, Inventory Management & Accounts Payable.

· Expertise in Integration of

o SAP Materials management with SAP FICO domain.

o SAP ECC/ S/4 HANA.

with SAP Ariba, SAP MDG.

· Must be able to participate in a team environment and communicate effectively

· Strong problem solving, troubleshooting skills along with sound judgement and decision-making skills.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Experience working with geographically diverse groups

· Ability to learn and grasps concepts quickly in a fast-paced environment.

· A strong understanding of Agile software development process & Software life cycle methodology.

Preferred Qualifications

· Professional Training and Certification: SAP MM

· Implemented MM with S/4 HANA.

· Experience in implementation of ARIBA Procurement solutions (Sourcing, Buying & Invoicing)

· Excellent ability to succeed in ambiguous environment.

· Relationship management at leadership level

· Optional - Exposure to AI/ML/GPT is a plus.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the requirements gathering process, guide discussions by representing standard out of the box functionality that exists and how it can be leveraged.
  • Generate Business requirement documentation.
  • Deliver required functionality according to Microsoft standards, align with portfolio roadmaps
  • Working hands-on with your team through design and implementation, demonstrating good engineering practices and coding along the way.
  • Detail design of the E2E solution -Utilize reference architecture in project design work
  • Enhance the project capabilities by continuous improvements & innovation, develop strong partnership with business and other groups, globally & ensure both excellence in design and delivery.
  • Support Domain Architects in the definition of solution and technology roadmaps and industry standards
  • Sharing your work and learnings with your team, other Microsoft teams, and the broader community.
  • Driving design reviews and taking them closure.
