The Cloud Infra and Supply Execution (CISE) finance team is an exciting and fast-evolving finance team at the forefront of Microsoft’s Cloud-first strategy.
The CISE finance team is responsible for supporting delivering cloud capacity at the right time, right place and right cost. We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager - Data Center Innovation and Strategy to support financial planning and controllership for Datacenter Design and Office of CO+I CTO.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field
- AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ work experience in a matrixed org
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across teams and at all levels.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and bring clarity to complex situations.
- Experience in process improvement / optimization is preferred
- Proficient Excel modeling and prior FP&A experience preferred.
Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.

Responsibilities
The role requires a high degree of agility and skill in navigating multiple stakeholder requirements while enabling accelerated growth aspirations for the business in a highly competitive market environment. To be successful, the individual needs to be highly

• Support monthly/quarterly processes around close, forecasting, budget, and long-range planning functions across Datacenter Finance team and orchestrate more broadly across the finance organization
• Support capital approval processes to support our growing Cloud business
• Partner with engineering leaders on DC design, costing, value engineering and capital investments needed
• Be a cultural champion for inclusion, growth mindsets, and establish culture and norms that support consistent quality employee and partner experiences
