The Dynamics 365 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) team is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead roadmap development, portfolio planning, and cross-organization scale for our fast-growing agentic Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) portfolio—powered by Copilot and autonomous AI agents.

We are looking for a Princpal Product Manager to join our team!

This role spans Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, Finance, HR, Commerce, Project Operations, Field Service, and Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability. You’ll drive the evolution of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) from cloud systems to agentic, AI-first operations, enabling intelligent orchestration and decision-making across the enterprise. This is a high-impact role that requires a strategic thinker, a skilled communicator, and a collaborative leader who can drive clarity, align strategies, and foster momentum across teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience understanding cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) modules and communicating key aspects to analysts and customers.
  • 5+ years of experience leading portfolio planning and roadmap development in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • 2+ years of experience with Dynamics 365 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) capabilities.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience in product management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
  • 6+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • 6+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 ERP and agentic AI.
  • Experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership and external audiences.

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.

Responsibilities

As the Principal Product Manager, you will:

  • Lead Agentic Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Portfolio Planning: Own and drive the end-to-end product planning process across Dynamics 365 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) engineering teams, aligning agentic capabilities with business priorities, customer needs, and long-term vision.
  • Define and Evolve Agent-Led Roadmaps: Partner with product leaders to shape a cohesive roadmap that integrates autonomous agents across multiple ERP workloads.
  • Drive Cross-Product Coordination: Facilitate collaboration across product teams to ensure seamless integration of AI agents, shared investments, and consistent customer experiences across the agentic ERP landscape. Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and research teams to shape product direction and deliver Customer-centric solutions.
  • Craft and Deliver Strategic Narratives: Develop compelling product stories that highlight the roadmap and transformation from cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to agentic ERP for internal and external audiences.
  • Engage with Stakeholders: Act as a trusted advisor to senior product leaders, analysts, and partners—curating relationships that accelerate adoption of agentic Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
  • Measure and Drive Improvement: Define success metrics for agentic Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) scenarios, track progress, and refine planning processes to improve agility, transparency, and impact.
  • Champion Innovation and Inclusion: Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and inclusion across the product team in alignment with Microsoft’s mission and values.
