Azure Networking operates and manages Microsoft’s global network which is one of the largest networks on the planet. The Azure Cloud Network Security PM team is looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive large scale network security initiatives across Microsoft. This role is pivotal in advancing our network security posture while ensuring the resilience, compliance, and security of our cloud infrastructure. As a TPM on this team, you will partner closely with security engineering, networking, and compliance teams to define and drive strategy for end-to-end network security and align cross-organizational roadmaps to deliver secure-by-design architectures that protect Azure.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- OR equivalent experience
- Experience in engineering, product/technical program management, and data analysis
- Experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
Other Qualifications:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 1+ year(s) experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis,
- OR product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
Technical Program Management IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $84,200 - $165,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $109,000 - $180,400 per year.

Responsibilities
- You will help others as they design technical solutions. You will also identify risks, manage dependencies and ensure timely delivery of program milestones, escalating them to senior levels when needed.
- Based on success criteria, you’ll help others develop and implement features for cross-functional projects. You’ll begin to understand how to collaborate and ensure alignment across teams.
- Under supervision, you will help others adhere to roadmap for single features, track project schedules, manage staging and implementation, and comply with governance programs.
- You will help others drive continuous improvements by validating use cases and partnering with other departments to collect performance metrics.
- Build and maintain program-level dashboards and KPIs, providing leadership with visibility and enabling data-driven decision-making.
