Overview

The Scale AI Solutioning team within our Innovation and Acceleration organization is driving customer transformation toward scalable, agentic solutions that accelerate value delivery. We are seeking a Software Engineer - Data Platform with hands-on experience in Azure Fabric, advanced data analytics, and AI services to architect and implement automation frameworks, data-driven scoring systems, and prioritization models. You will contribute to the development of repeatable assets, integrate AI and analytics capabilities, and operationalize technical feasibility models that guide solution deployment at scale.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

  • 1+ years' experience with Azure Fabric, Azure Data Analytics, and AI services (including Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services).
  • 1+ years' experience working with cloud-native architectures, modern development frameworks, and prompt engineering.

Preferred

  • Proficiency in data modeling and analytics, including survey-based techniques and AI-driven solution design, with a solid understanding of UX and technical complexity in data-rich environments.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions and clearly articulate the business value of technical and agentic solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with modern software development practices, including DevOps and CI/CD toolchains (e.g., Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure DevOps, GitHub), and cloud development platforms.
  • Strong understanding of AI services (e.g., OpenAI) and how to integrate them into modern application infrastructures, along with awareness of the competitive landscape.


Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year. Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and publish solution accelerators leveraging Azure Fabric and AI services to enable rapid deployment of intelligent solutions.
  • Integrate Azure AI, Copilot, and advanced data analytics into workflow automation to streamline business operations.
  • Extend Azure Fabric capabilities to develop reusable, scalable, and agentic solutions for enterprise applications.
  • Contribute to internal testing and iteration of prioritization models and backlog scoring, applying analytics and AI-driven insights to improve decision-making.
  • Create guidance and frameworks for automating prioritized business tasks using Fabric, Azure, and AI technologies, ensuring best practices and scalability.
