As a member of our team, you will align market activation strategies that engage key audiences, including teachers, IT decision makers, and school leaders to achieve our stated business priorities and objectives. We are looking for a product marketing professional who thrives in an innovative and inclusive environment. You will collaborate with product marketers, outbound channel owners, and cross-company stakeholders to build compelling narratives, content strategy and assets, marketing activations and customer stories bringing customer use cases to life across various channels. Responsibilities
• Lead market activation strategies and cross-functional initiatives, including AI Tours and EDU events
• Develop and execute content strategy, customer stories, and integrated marketing campaigns
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation
• Leverage AI and digital tools to drive marketing outcomes
Champion Microsoft’s values of inclusion, empowerment, and continuous learning
• Drive marketing planning and execution across K20 in collaboration with product marketing, integrated marketing, Elevate and MCAPS stakeholders, to deliver targeted business outcomes. Lead customer story pipeline and development, showcasing various environments and use cases (across K12/CC/ HEd verticals). Establish and manage RoB for stakeholder alignment, feedback, measurements and proactive calibrations with agile motions. PoC for cross-company initiatives such as AI Tours, Microsoft T1 events, EDU events. Manage content planning cadence to enable stakeholders with content development, asset visibility and collaboration opportunities to address the needs and gaps. Leverage AI and digital tools to drive marketing outcomes. Lead and support cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive approach, reducing thrash. Embody our culture and values
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business and/or product marketing OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience marketing to the education sector and/or public sector.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with integrated marketing, audience marketing, and go-to-market (GTM).
- Ability to lead teams and manage agile projects.
- Some technical understanding and ability to learn new products and technologies.
- Communication skills, with the ability to simply articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences, especially to customers.
- Proven ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy, making informed decisions based on data and common principles to ensure the success of the project or team.
- Project management and customer focus skills.
Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
