Product Manager
Microsoft
We’re building the next generation of management services for Windows —where agents and MCPs are used to automate routine work, accelerate troubleshooting, and translate customer intent into secure, governed action.
As a Product Manager, you’ll own a focused feature area that connects customer needs with technical foundations (services, APIs, agent frameworks) to deliver measurable business value. This role is ideal for a curious, fast learner who loves diving into technical concepts and turning them into simple, scalable solutions for admins and end users.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Own a feature area in our management services portfolio from problem framing through launch and iteration.
- Translate customer needs into specs: distill insights from customer conversations, support signals, and telemetry into clear PRDs, user stories, and measurable impact on business metrics.
- Partner deeply with Engineering/Design/Data to prioritize work, write crisp requirements, define success metrics, and sequence milestones.
- Ship iteratively using experiments (A/B), flighting, and feature flags; drive outcomes with dashboards, KPIs, and narrative updates.
- Integrate across Microsoft (e.g., Intune/Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Entra, Windows Update/Autopatch, M365 Graph, Copilot/agents) to ensure end‑to‑end admin value.
- Champion security, compliance, and governance in agent and MCP designs (permissions, RBAC, data boundaries, auditability).
- Tell the story: create clear docs, demos, and readiness content for field, partners, and customers.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year(s) experience managing Windows admin scenarios (Intune, Entra, Windows Update/Autopatch, Graph APIs) or adjacent enterprise management tools.
- 1+ year(s) experience defining KPIs and conducting A/B tests on datasets, including building dashboards and performing cohort analysis
- 1+ year(s) experience designing scalable systems and build functional prototypes using GitHub Copilot or other vibe coding tools
- 1+ year(s) experience delivering concise written and verbal communication of complex technical concepts
- 1+ year(s) experience translating customer insights into shipped features
