Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Principal Product Lead to join the Windows Lifecycle team. We focus on driving Windows retention by enhancing the value from user’s Device and Account across different stages of user's Device lifecycle from onboarding to upgrade. We are part of Windows Experiences org. Our core mission for Windows Experiences team is to demonstrate Customer love, reimagine with AI and grow the Microsoft+ ecosystem via Windows.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in product management and proven track record of driving a thriving team. Responsibilities include developing and executing product strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless user experiences, and analyzing market trends to identify new opportunities.

Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, along with technical proficiency and familiarity with industry standards. Experience within large-scale ecosystems and a deep understanding of user engagement metrics are highly beneficial.

Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the Developer area, aligning with the overall goals of the Microsoft Store team.
  • Metrics Focus: Drive growth in Successful Developers and Catalog Coverage metrics by identifying key opportunities and implementing effective strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and launch.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Customer Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve the product and enhance the developer experience.
  • Roadmap Management: Define and manage the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including developers, partners, and vendors.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, providing regular updates and insights to the team.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ year(s) p
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • eople management experience.
  • Proven ability to drive product growth and achieve key metrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to inform product decisions.
  • Passion for technology and a deep understanding of the developer ecosystem.

Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 15+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in product & people management, preferably in the technology or software development industry.
