What We Do:
We build Employee Service Delivery capabilities for Microsoft 365 Copilot. Through these capabilities, we are making Microsoft 365 Copilot the single starting point for all of employee’s needs as well as giving the tools and capabilities Leaders need to successfully transform their organizations around AI.
Our Culture:
We are a geo-distributed team of product managers and technical program managers. We are primarily focused on creating experiences for Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio that complete user jobs around Employee Experience – leveraging the data and capabilities of the Microsoft Graph, Microsoft Viva, and Microsoft 365. We are customer obsessed, data informed, and hypothesis driven and measure our outcomes to prove we deliver value to customers. We partner closely with a talented and senior set of engineers, designers, and researchers.
The Work:
We are looking for a talented Principal Product Manager who has high customer empathy, is passionate about building great end to end experiences, is comfortable and skilled in representing Microsoft to high profile customers with complex needs, can effectively collaborate with and drive dependencies through partnerships, understands working and partnerships with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and can think through the entire range of maker-to-the-end-user experiences. As a Principal Product Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and influence a truly global charter that has a material impact on Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft Viva, and the ability to shape the future of a new and emerging product.

Responsibilities
- You will influence others to drive business impact across the organization and track success criteria for multiple feature areas across divisions. You’ll also be an expert in identifying long-term investment opportunities and engaging partners to garner support for those feature areas.
- You will define a feature set and facilitate senior-level usability reviews with customers. You’ll own the roadmap for multiple feature areas across divisions, and will collaborate with a partner team to build golden configurations and drive scenario walkthroughs.
- You will scale Product Marketing teams by building marketing and roll-out plans, as well as leading the creation of customer support plans. You’ll also take advantage of major opportunities to promote the feature areas you worked on and present at large events.
- As an expert, you will partner with others to collect performance metrics and form hypotheses for complex technical needs in order to improve product development in multiple areas. You’ll also identify features to deprecate, manage customer communities, and build trust with targeted customers across sectors.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 8+ years as product or program manager overall working on large scale projects across diverse organizations and product offerings.
- Deeply technical person who understands Copilot and Copilot-led experiences.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Experience in building data driven products, ability to use data to inform product decisions.
- Experiences with Copilot Studio and/or maker/power-user experiences.
- Experience partnering with 3P ISVs.
- A track-record of independence, thinking freely and delivering world class solutions.
- The ability to lead across disciplines, collaborate, and influence your peers.
- The ability to empathize, listen, and obsess over our customers.
Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
