Technical Program Manager

We’re looking for a motivated Technical Program Manager to join the Surface Business Execution and Performance Team. The successful candidate will lead various cross-functional projects to remove operational challenges and drive growth in the Surface business. The candidate will work closely with partner teams to identify root cause, identify potential solutions (capabilities, tooling, process or change management), lead the implementation and measure impact. This role requires strategic thinking, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to influence through data and storytelling.

Responsibilities
- Proactively identify business projects requiring enhancements in processes, tools, and / or change management. Drive the strategic approach, establish clear success metrics, and coordinate cross-team efforts to deliver outcomes for complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Using business intelligence and strategic thinking to analyze business operations, identify gaps and form strategic partnerships to collectively resolve and implement change.
- Driving operational excellence by designing robust processes while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Finding creative solutions across different areas of the business and developing processes and content to optimize performance and influence change.
- Ability to steer programs in a collaborative environment with competing interests and levels of urgency.
- Effectively communicate and present ideas to diverse stakeholder groups to secure alignment, while demonstrating adaptability and agility in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience
- 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to manage complex operational challenges, work across teams to find solutions and drive change across organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to create effective relationships, influence, and collaborate internally and externally at all organizational levels.
- Solid capability in verbal and written communications skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and critical judgment skills to assess risks, scrutinize details, and solve complex problems combined with business acumen to analyze business operations and financial health
- Detail-oriented with the ability to verify the accuracy and completeness of information

Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
