Job Purpose: As a Software Engineer in our team in Dublin, your work will impact on all development teams globally that write features for Windows. You will deliver solutions that ensure critical app compatibility issues, introduced by the Windows development process, never get exposed to customers. You will strive to constantly improve our results by leveraging AI and analyzing data to answer business questions and guide our engineering decisions.

Responsibilities
- You will develop innovative tools and solutions to discover regressions before they are merged into the vast OS codebase, using the latest technology in software engineering, AI and data analytics to do so.
- You will contribute feature work to our automation framework which is used by our organization to author test content.
- You will work on enhancing the test authoring experience by developing AI solutions and leveraging cutting edge MCP’s.
- You will collaborate closely with engineers based in Dublin, Redmond, Nairobi and beyond to tackle compatibility issues in Windows.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the
- Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. “
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry experience designing, building, testing & shipping software.
- Experience working with and building AI solutions is highly desired.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deal with ambiguity comfortably.
- Passion for customers, product quality and drive for results.
- Leadership and communication skills are key to this role.
