As a Senior Software Engineer on OneDrive iOS, you’ll turn ideas into elegant, high-performing features built with Swift and SwiftUI. You will partner with engineers across Microsoft to design, build, and ship customer-focused solutions that release every two weeks. This opportunity will allow you to accelerate your technical growth, strengthen your ability to deliver at scale, and contribute to a product used by millions worldwide. Our team follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days a week in the office to stay connected while offering flexibility the rest of the time.
Our codebase is built on Swift and Objective-C, with all the new features being written in Swift and SwiftUI for iOS 17 and above. We also leverage Microsoft 365 and Azure services, releasing to the App Store every two weeks through automated pipelines.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years experience in Swift and familiarity with native iOS architecture, frameworks, and Xcode.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Proven track record of developing impactful iOS features, with deep expertise in the Apple ecosystem and related development tools.
- Committed to enabling other developers by designing scalable, maintainable, and high-performing client features.
- Track record of contributing to large-scale, production-grade mobile applications.Strong foundation in performance optimization and reliability for mobile applications at scale.
- Ability to prioritize performance, reliability, and quality as foundational principles of mobile app development.
- Passionate about building and maintaining comprehensive automated test suites (Unit and UI) as an integral part of development.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
