Entra ID’s Identity Buildout team is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to help address some of our most complex, product- and infrastructure-facing challenges. This role will play a critical part in strengthening engineering and financial efficiency while enabling Entra’s expansion into new regions and sovereign clouds. The programs driven from this space have broad organizational impact and are foundational to Entra’s global scale and reliability. We are seeking a strong, execution-focused TPM with demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-organizational programs and partnering effectively with leaders across engineering, Azure, operations, and business teams. The ideal candidate brings deep program and project management expertise, excels at prioritization and dependency management, and proactively identifies and mitigates risks to maintain forward momentum. A strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and structured problem-solving approach will be key to success in this role. As part of the Identity Buildout team, you will drive initiatives that extend Entra’s capabilities into new regions and clouds, ensuring readiness across engineering, infrastructure, and operational dimensions. You will help bring clarity to ambiguity, establish scalable program structures, and deliver with discipline and predictability across a highly interconnected environment. This role reports to the Principal Program Management Manager leading Entra’s geographic expansion efforts and will oversee strategic initiatives that enable Entra’s continued global growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to identify, scope, and drive complex technical programs. Contribute to design and architecture discussions, ensuring program decisions align with long-term scalability and operational readiness.

• Define clear program goals, success criteria, and priorities for initiatives you own. Use data-driven analysis to translate organizational objectives and technical requirements into executable program plans.

• Drive proactive, data-informed risk management across programs. Identify dependencies, surface risks early, and lead mitigation planning to ensure predictable delivery.

• Establish and track success metrics (OKRs, KPIs, and operational health indicators) in partnership with stakeholders. Provide regular, structured updates on execution, risks, and outcomes to leadership.

• Coordinate and drive end-to-end execution across complex, multi-team programs. Track schedules, dependencies, and milestones while holding stakeholders accountable to commitments and timelines. Drive course correction when needed and ensure consistent, transparent communication.

• Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Prepare and deliver clear executive-ready updates and be comfortable presenting program status, risks, and strategy to large stakeholder and leadership audiences.



Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects

  • Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.



Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
