The Asia MCAPS Regional Security Controller leads financial insights, performance management, and executive storytelling across the Region to drive Security business growth. The role ensures alignment on budget, forecast, and performance outcomes, and connects Area, Regional, and WW Finance & Business leadership.

Responsibilities
People: The Asia MCAPS Regional Security Controller is an experienced professional within the Asia Finance community and is expected to contribute to the thought leadership of the community.
- Orchestrate Finance Rhythm of the Business (RoB) including QBRs, APRs, forecast cycles, and executive read outs with regards to the Security Business.
- Be the Asia Security Community Lead, guiding the community on Security Big bets and insights across Asia areas.
Partnership: Partner with Area SLT / FLT and Business leaders to drive performance transparency and decision making.
- Provide forward looking insights on growth, market share, benchmarks, and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure clarity of expectations, financial accountability, and alignment across stakeholders.
- Act as the connective tissue between Area, Region, and WW Finance communities.
- Support Microsoft Big Bets and strategic priorities with data driven insights.
- Understands the interconnections between data, information, and results and translates this into forward-looking narratives and forecasts. Generates actionable plans based on complex results, ambiguous findings, and multi-year time horizons. Participates in and influences business partner situations understanding and awareness.
- Collaborates on improvements through automation. Applies understanding of advanced technology to accomplish business goals and to provide greater depth of analysis.
Prioritisation: Works directly with business partners to translate top-down targets to an accountable budget for each group.
- Completes and reviews analysis, modelling, and research to support preliminary and adjusted forecast cycles.
- Partners and solicits insight from business and commercial stakeholders. Manages financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Delivers results through tracking performance, reporting accuracy, and partnering with business leaders to ensure execution of plans and accountability for results.
- Helps to ensure the accurate and timely rhythm of business reporting including key performance indicators (KPIs), monthly close, and budgeting. Generates relevant and actionable insights to drive the business forward.
- Acts as subject matter expert for data management and operations.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field.
- OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field.
- OR equivalent experience.
- Capabilities in data analysis, reporting and problem solving with ability to work at multiple altitudes -- from strategic and high-level framing to detailed analysis.
- Strong partnering capabilities, including influencing others without direct authority and appropriately pushing back when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in multinationals / matrix-based organization with multi-product/multi-segment finance.
- Exposure in the technology or software industry.
- Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountants (CA) or equivalent certification.
- Skilled in collaboration, proactively driving and delivering high-impact results through both individual and v-team effort
- Ability to influence, establish credibility, trust and partnership at all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity in presentation of results to senior management on a regular basis.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple inputs, tasks and stakeholders, sometimes under tight deadlines.
- Experienced in navigating ambiguity and uncertainty, in a business that evolves at a fast pace.
