Responsibilities
Key accountabilities for this position include, but not limited to:
- Drive the front-end architecture to support complex user interfaces using responsive design techniques and principles.
- Own the functional and unit testing strategy for the front-end.
- Collaborate with other developers and data scientists on the team to design, implement, and maintain interactive, visual, and analytical web experiences and workflow tools for desktop and mobile (blend of modern front-end technologies, including PowerApps).
- Mentor, coach, and develop other engineers.
- Lead by example and suggest improvements to the team’s development practices, code quality and web client performance.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 4 years of UI/Frontend development experience (or 3 years + bachelor’s degree).
- Expertise with JavaScript and frameworks such as React (preferred), Angular or Vue.
- Experience with building 3D applications targeting VR/AR/MR platforms with Unity/Unreal Engine/Babylon JS.
- Strong experience in Hypervelocity Engineering with AI powered design and coding tools.
- Basic experience with backend development in either .NET (specifically ASP.NET Web API) or Node.
- Experience building Micro Frontend applications and Design Systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent software engineering habits, including peer code reviews, CI/CD, unit testing, integration testing
- Cross-browser development/deployment experience with cloud services (e.g. AWS, Azure)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, user experience design & development (or related field).
- Design Experience.
- Experience with building Power Apps.
- Proficiency with ASP.NET MVC, Blazor, Web APIs, C# and the .NET Framework or .NET Core.
- Experience working in a DevOps environment.
- Application development and deployment experience with cloud services (e.g. AWS, Azure).
- Experience with building cross-platform apps with frameworks like Electron is an advantage.
- Experience with building 3D applications targeting VR or AR platforms with Unity/Unreal Engine/Babylon JS is an advantage.
- Experience with data, analytics, visualization libraries (d3, Highcharts), and related technologies is an added advantage.
