The Finance Director – Data Analytics & AI Transformation is a senior leadership role responsible for advancing Treasury’s analytics maturity and scaling AI-enabled transformation across Treasury operations.
This role leads a team to deliver data-driven insights, intelligent automation, and scalable analytics solutions that improve financial decision-making, productivity, and business outcomes. The position partners across Finance, Engineering, and business stakeholders to build a modern, data-driven function under Treasury aligned to Microsoft’s transformation agenda.
Responsibilities
- Lead & Develop Team
Build and coach a high-performing team of analysts and transformation leads; foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement - Drive Data & Analytics Strategy
Define and execute Treasury analytics roadmap; standardize KPIs and reporting; enable self-service insights and data democratization - Deliver AI & Automation at Scale
Identify and implement AI, automation, and advanced analytics use cases; partner with Engineering to deploy scalable, enterprise solutions - Advance Operational Excellence
Simplify, standardize, and automate end-to-end processes; embed analytics into Treasury workflows to improve speed, accuracy, and efficiency - Lead Cross-Functional Programs
Drive complex transformation initiatives across Treasury and Engineering; influence stakeholders on priorities, trade-offs, and execution - Drive Measurable Impact
Define and track KPIs across analytics adoption, automation impact, productivity gains, and cost efficiency; deliver tangible business outcomes

Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Expertise in data analytics, business intelligence, and AI adoption and experiments
- Proven ability to lead data-driven transformation with measurable impact
- Experience leading AI and automation initiatives in Finance
- Familiarity with Power BI, Azure Data/Fabric, Databricks, SQL, or similar platforms
- Experience partnering with Engineering or Data Science teams
Financial Analysis M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900.00 - $277,200.00 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600.00 - $303,600.00 per year.
