Developer: Our development teams design, develop and maintain applications used by our business units. Daily activities include meeting with clients to gather and analyze requirements. They make system design decisions, evaluating, integrating and developing necessary software, and then test and deploy applications to production. Developing high-performing, low-latency electronic trading systems, and evolving complex workflows and life-cycle management capabilities are just some of the projects available for developers. For Developer roles, we look for experience in development of applications in one or more object-oriented languages: Java, C++, C#/.NET, Python, Full Stack, Web Developer.

EngIneer: Our engineer’s provide tools, applications, and platforms which are the foundation of our cutting-edge systems. Engineers work on the Firm’s networks, computing hardware, operating systems and databases. They provide the foundation we need for the Firm’s cutting-edge, critical systems including trading applications, mobile applications and other end-user applications. Engineering the Firm’s websites, managing the Windows plant and developing a client reporting delivery system are some of the projects available for engineers in our organization. We also offer Production-facing roles where you will be responsible for ensuring the stability of our systems and infrastructure. Some of our engineering roles include Security Architect Engineer, Systems Engineer, Database Engineer, Reliability & Production Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer, Workspace Solutions, Help Desk. Technical skills that may be relevant to the type of engineering role may include infrastructure knowledge in Linux / Unix or Windows, experience of networking protocols, experience in scripting languages such as Python, database administration / development experience including SQL queries.

Cloud - Software Engineer: The Cloud Product team is part of Cloud team within the Cyber, Data, Risk and Resilience organization. The mission of Product is to safely enable the Firm’s data, infrastructure, and systems in off-premises environments. This includes teams that define strategy and architecture, manage product lifecycle and features, and build applications and services to secure the Firm’s journey to the cloud. The successful candidate will be an individual contributor with a background in software engineering and an interest in building large-scale, cutting-edge systems to solve complex problems in the cloud. The Cloud Product team sets the vision and strategy for Morgan Stanley’s use of cloud products and services. The team translates that strategy into a product roadmap and backlog and builds software to deliver capabilities that enable new business and reduce risk to the Firm. We’re seeking talent with hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud provider, software development knowledge such as Java, Python, Golang, or Rust as well as knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and distributed databases and experience with automation and CI/CD tools and practices.

Technical Business Analyst: A part of an Agile Squad analyzing processes, applications, and tools, defining requirements and data logic, and supporting execution of projects to deployment. The analysis will include, but not be limited to gap analysis, system analysis, and impact analysis. They will proactively contribute to changes in data infrastructure and flows, and act as experts in their area. Skills we look for in this role involve being data driven, the ability to write queries to perform adequate analysis on data for requirements, familiarity with Agile Processes, Ceremonies, and Structure as the support Data Ingestion squads, and with using JIRA or equivalent software to document and track user stories.

Scrum Master/Project Manager: A dynamic and technologically advanced team where a Scrum Masters embodies the core values, being client focused, leading with excellence, do the right thing, and being team oriented. The candidate brings knowledge of Agile principles and ceremonies, experiences in collaboration across complex organizations, removing impediments, and ensuring team progress towards their missions and deliverables. Ideal skills we look for include program and project management experience while working across functional teams, experience with Technology projects related to Financial Services domain, knowledge of Wealth Management, Banking technology & related applications, familiarity with Agile – scrum methodology preferred, program management tools, including Microsoft Project, Access, Word, Excel, Visio, and SharePoint.

Cyber: Join our Cyber team and help us protect our critical systems and assets. You will be part of a team of security professionals dedicated to keeping our systems secure. You must have an in-depth knowledge of security practices and technologies, as well as the ability to develop and implement security solutions. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology, security, and has the drive and enthusiasm to keep our systems safe. Skills for this role include knowledge of security practices and technologies, including encryption, authentication, and identity management, working knowledge of security tools, protocols, and vulnerability scanners, familiarity with networking and network security, ability to analyze, develop and implement security solutions, scripting (Python, BASH, Perl, or PowerShell), coding, or other development experience.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 and $205,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
