| Position Highlights | The Financial Analyst III is an integral part of the College of Medicine-Tucson finance team, responsible for providing comprehensive financial management and operational support to departments, centers, and administrative units. This position plays a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and analysis while ensuring compliance with institutional policies and procedures. The Financial Analyst III will assist departmental/center administrators and staff to facilitate the annual all-funds budget process and quarterly forecasting. They are responsible for reviewing and validating financial data for accuracy, resolving discrepancies, preparing detailed financial reports, analyzing performance and offering actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. This role requires strong analytical and problem solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting is essential.
