| Position Highlights | The Department of Internal Medicine at The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix invites talented academic scientists to apply for this outstanding career faculty opportunity. The successful applicant will have expertise in tissue procurement and development of patient-derived organoid technology. The individual will spend 90% of their time in research related activities, including collaborative team-based science, service to investigative efforts of the department, directing tissue procurement efforts and training students and technicians. The successful candidate will fulfill the responsibilities of a faculty member in the Department of Internal Medicine, actively participate in scholarly work, teaching, service and must qualify for an appointment at the rank of assistant professor. The successful candidate will meet the requirements of career-track faculty according to the College and University guidelines.
