| Position Highlights | University Information Technology Services (UITS) is seeking an Instructional Technology Professional II to join the Instructional Technology Support Team within IT Support Services at our Tucson campus. This position plays a critical role in providing Instructional Technology support across the campus. The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive technology support, assist with A/V installations, and perform preventative maintenance in various learning environments. Responsibilities include ensuring the reliability and performance of instructional technology systems, diagnosing and resolving A/V and control system issues, and coordinating with campus partners to support instructional continuity. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential, as this position regularly consults with faculty, staff, and students to design and implement technology solutions that enhance the teaching and learning experience. The candidate must be able to work both independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team. Proficiency with control systems, conferencing solutions, various AV equipment and troubleshooting complex technical issues is required. This role demands flexibility in a fast-paced environment, including occasional evening and weekend work. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills (both verbal and written) are vital, as is the ability to maintain positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and vendors. A commitment to supporting the campus’s growth and evolving needs is essential. The successful candidate is required to obtain (if not already obtained) Crestron CTI-Commercial Technician and Extron AV Associate Certifications, AVIXA CTS, and Dante Level III certification within 12 months of employment. | Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report | In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses.
