| Position Highlights | National Security Programs at the University of Arizona is in search of several Research Development Professionals (on-call). The Research Development Professionals will focus in the disciplines of Scenario Design, Gaming, and Simulations supporting National Security. The position plays a crucial role in supporting the initiatives of the National Security Initiatives team, which are focused on partnerships with defense, intelligence, and industry to advance research and develop the workforce of tomorrow in the field of national security. Through collaborative research and technology transfer, we are improving the agility and resiliency of U.S. national security. The position provides comprehensive scenario design and development, gaming design/facilitation, and technical expertise for simulation development support for both the University of Arizona and external agencies. This support includes strategic, operational, tactical, and educational design, development, delivery, and implementation of scenarios, exercises, games, and simulations with particular focus on National Security-related topics. National Security Initiatives at the U of A focus on partnerships with defense, intelligence and industry to advance research and develop the workforce of tomorrow. | Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report | In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
