| Position Highlights | The University of Arizona's South West Institute for Research on Women invites you to apply to the role of Community Outreach Manager I. At the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS), we work to investigate ideas, transform social conditions, and tell unheard stories. We prepare students, engage in research, and collaborate with community partners to address everyday challenges, be thoughtful problem-solvers, and build solidarity with others across the world. We are rooted in the unique sense of place in our Borderlands region. With more than 30 SBS majors The College of SBS has a portfolio of competitive and highly ranked graduate programs. Seven of our graduate programs are nationally ranked in the top 25, including a top 5 anthropology, geography, political philosophy, and creative nonfiction programs to choose from. Our students can explore a range of subjects, from ancient philosophy to artificial intelligence. As part of our continued commitment to excellence, the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences is seeking a Community Outreach Manager to join our team and contribute to the advancement of our strategic goals. The Southwest Institute for Research on Women (SIROW) [https://sirow.arizona.edu/] at The University of Arizona invites applications for a Community Outreach Manager to start as soon as possible. SIROW is a resource and research institute that designs, implements, and evaluates community-collaborative projects to improve community well-being. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary group of researchers and scholars at SIROW on ongoing grant-funded projects concerning the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs serving traditionally underserved, marginalized, and health-disparate populations, such as individuals involved in the justice system and individuals experiencing homelessness. The programs are in the subareas of behavioral health, sexual and relationship health, education, housing stability, and economic well-being. The successful candidate is expected to play a substantial role in leading, managing, and carrying out a variety of applied community-based educational, cultural, and recreational research and action projects responsive to community-identified needs and supportive of the community. This position is supported by grant funding. | Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report | In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses.
