To manage, plan and implement corporate and product marketing programs, campaigns and strategies in support of Navy Federal products and service offerings to current/potential Navy Federal members. Oversees strategist team day-to-day in the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives aligned with enterprise and department strategy and goals. Improves collaboration and integration across departments to drive impactful campaigns. Builds strong, relationships with partners throughout the organization, to ensure marketing plans, media and campaign strategy are aligned with best practices and supports enterprise goals and initiatives. Contributes and leads strategic marketing efforts while supporting operational execution.

Improves collaboration and integration across departments to drive impactful campaigns. Builds strong, relationships with partners throughout the organization, to ensure marketing plans, media and campaign strategy are aligned with best practices and supports enterprise goals and initiatives. Contributes and leads strategic marketing efforts while supporting operational execution.
  • Significant experience in a marketing account executive/supervisor role in a fast paced, highly structured creative environment similar to an advertising agency
  • Significant experience in translating complex concepts, customer needs, motivations and behaviors into easy-to-understand strategies, campaigns and deliverables (e.g., creative briefs)
  • Experience supporting strategic planning and roadmap development
  • Experience in Client Management and collaborating with external agency partners
  • Experience in supervising and professional development of employees, while effectively managing multiple priorities
  • Significant experience in media, digital and online technologies, best practices, trends, marketing plan development and roadmap planning
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing principles such as branding, promotions, production, communications, direct marketing, product life cycles, and business strategies
  • Significant experience using KPIs and performance analytics to provide insights and recommendations, make decisions, and communicate findings clear and concisely
  • Working knowledge of PC applications (e.g. Microsoft Office suite: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Significant experience as a project lead to include directing work and chairing team meeting
  • Exposure to or experience working in an agile marketing environment
  • Working knowledge of credit card products, value propositions, and competitive differentiators; experience supporting credit card acquisition marketing and multi-channel targeting strategies
  • Advanced skill influencing and building consensus with business partners of all levels
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Effective organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Advanced skill interacting with staff, management, vendors and members diplomatically and tactfully

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of Navy Federal products, services, programs, policies and procedures
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Marketing, Communications or the equivalent combination of experience, education, and training

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM (hybrid role, not eligible for remote)

  • Assists the Manager in the operation of Product Marketing and supports execution of the department's short and long term objectives in support of enterprise objectives and business goals
  • Develops business unit plans and strategies, establishes performance standards, expectations and priorities while ensuring department goals & objectives align with Navy Federal business strategy objectives; recommends initiatives to improve operational effectiveness; supports monitoring of KPIs and provides data-driven recommendations for improvements
  • Assists Marketing management/staff/business units with the development of strategic roadmaps, annual plans, multi-channel campaign plans, and media recommendations to ensure alignment to goals and processes
  • Supports development and execution of credit card acquisition strategies, including testing and rollout of new offers, messaging frameworks and acquisition journeys; applies knowledge of credit card marketing regulations, including prescreen and other acquisition practices
  • Supports education and reinforcement of Marketing processes across teams and stakeholders
  • Support merchandising of brand and product marketing campaigns; prepare performance summaries for leadership
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing Management team to ensure integration and efficiencies across cross-functional teams, broader department, and business units
  • Identifies opportunities to improve processes and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives; supporting the Manager’s role as a departmental change agent
  • Support analysis of campaign and media performance using KPIs to identify optimization opportunities
  • Ensures campaign briefs incorporate insights that align to enterprise strategy and campaign goals
  • Provide guidance and direction creating tactical strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and creating services to guide executable campaigns
  • Assists the Manager in planning, directing and managing the team to ensure a consistent internal and external member experience
  • Assists with third party vendors, identifying prospective vendor solutions and developing/submitting RFIs/RFPs (Request For Information/Request For Proposal) to prospective contractors
  • Maintain working knowledge and provide recommendations to the Manager, Brand & Product Marketing on emerging trends, media, technology and programs that support Navy Federal's brand strategy to include online banking and mobile banking; assist in the assimilation, integration and introduction of those trends
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and legislation
  • Makes budgetary recommendations regarding equipment and staffing needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
