Real Estate Lending (REL) Intelligent Automation team is looking for a Business Analyst Intern to support the Real Estate Lending (REL) department. Within our REL Intelligent Automation team, excellence is not just a goal, it's a standard. We support Navy Federal's real estate lending strategy by bringing the ideas of our REL business partners to light through building robust and scalable automations using low-code/no code technologies.
We are seeking a Year‑Round Intern to support data analysis, Power BI dashboard development, and executive reporting. This role focuses on transforming data into clear, value‑driven insights that support business decision‑making.

This is a year-round, Full or Part -Time, flexible internship based on school schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Business, Technology, or related field
- Interest in the field of Project Management & Business Analysis, Information Technology
- Strong Excel skills
- Power BI experience
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Interest in data visualization, reporting, and process improvement
- Communication and data storytelling presentation skills of technical material
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships
- Effective organizational, planning and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of basic project management processes and requirements documentation, awareness of IT software development lifecycles, and/or Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies is a plus
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM (minimum of 20-25 hours a week, based on school schedule)

- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
- Create executive‑ready reports with key metrics and insights
- Develop SOPs, documentation, and user guides for reporting and other processes
- Identify opportunities to improve processes using automation and low‑code/no‑code tools
- Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Support business unit reporting with actionable, value‑driven analysis
- Assist with light project coordination (status tracking, action items)
- Utilize effective written and verbal communication to document and present findings
- Perform other duties as assigned
