Job Summary

NetApp is seeking a seasoned Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle of FlexPod, our converged infrastructure solution co-engineered with Cisco. This role demands deep expertise in CI/HCI, virtualization, containerization, AI workloads, and the Cisco-NetApp technology stack.

You will drive product vision, collaborate across engineering and partner teams, and deliver innovative solutions that support hybrid cloud, enterprise apps, and AI infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Vision
  • Define and evolve the FlexPod roadmap in alignment with NetApp and Cisco strategic goals.
  • Lead initiatives across infrastructure modernization, AI enablement, and secure workload deployment.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis
  • Analyze CI/HCI market trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings.
  • Identify opportunities to differentiate FlexPod in virtualization, containerization, and AI use cases.
  • Product Development & Lifecycle
  • Partner with engineering, design, and partner teams to deliver new FlexPod capabilities.
  • Ensure seamless integration of NetApp storage, Cisco UCS compute, and Cisco Nexus switching/fabric interconnects.
  • Performance & Adoption
  • Monitor product performance and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine roadmap and prioritize features.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as the primary liaison between product management, sales, marketing, and partner teams.
  • Represent FlexPod in internal reviews, partner workshops, and customer briefings.
  • Documentation & Enablement
  • Develop and maintain product documentation, including use cases, technical specs, and GTM collateral.
  • Support enablement efforts for field teams and partners through training and content creation.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record in converged infrastructure, HCI, and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Experience with:
  • NetApp AFF and ASA storage systems
  • Cisco UCS X-Series and C-Series compute platforms
  • Cisco Nexus switching and fabric interconnects
  • VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes
  • AI/ML infrastructure and MLOps workflows
  • Familiarity with Cisco Validated Designs (CVDs), NetApp Verified Architectures (NVAs), and NetApp Solution Briefs.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus
  • Analytical Skills
  • Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Experience with analytics tools and methodologies.
  • Problem-Solving
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Project Management
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Confluence and JIRA.

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 183,600 - 272,800 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
