Benefits Operations Analyst

Overview
NetApp Inc. is seeking an intermediate-level, detail-oriented and proactive Benefits Operations Analyst to join its APAC Benefits team.
We’re looking for someone who has a strong appetite for change and general sense of curiosity about everything they do and see. Your ability to identify areas for process improvement and streamlining is encouraged and welcomed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for our daily benefits operations with an eye toward process improvement and resolution
- First point of contact for employee benefit questions or claim concerns; escalate as necessary and ensure resolution
- Maintain and update monthly actual benefits spend for benefit programs globally
- Data mining and entry for budget forecasting
- Manage accrual entries for open purchase orders (POs) in collaboration with Finance
- Administration of employee records (e.g. census gathering for renewals, working with carriers or local brokers to process leavers and joiners, auditing central benefit database to ensure accurate coverage, etc.)
- Build or maintain benefit intranet pages via SharePoint for each region (working with local resources for appropriate language translations)
- In collaboration with local Benefit Managers and brokers, strategize and develop tools and communications that enhance employees’ understanding of their benefits (e.g. benefit summaries, renewal communications, etc.)
- Develop and streamline procedures for administrative tasks (including building SOPs)
- Manage invoice payments with the respective stakeholders to ensure timely payments
- Support regional Benefit Managers on ad hoc projects as needed
Job Requirements
- Two+ years of experience in HR is preferred
- Good understanding of broad-based regional group benefit program
- Strong verbal and written communication skills: bilingual or multilingual communication skills are highly desirable, particularly in languages such as Mandarin, Japanese or Korean
- Experience handling ambiguity and working independently
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivots, Vlookup, conditional formatting)
- Ability to learn quickly and think independently
- Exceptional time-management and adaptation skills
