Essential Functions

Presales Engineers work together with the assigned Account/Sales Team by providing expertise in the following areas:
• Work closely with sales as a consultant to understand customers and prospect’s technical needs related to a specific market or specific product.
• Perform consultative selling of optimum support and system solutions.
• Manage and evolve a comprehensive technology collaboration and support.
• Participate in customer evaluations and proof of concepts for deploying test systems.
• Plan, conduct and direct projects to support sales efforts and address future customer needs. Project plan includes costs, staffing, technical leadership and project evaluation.
• Keep apprised of all new product features and fixes.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of success in the tech industry; deep knowledge of NetApp solutions a strong advantage.
  • Expert in data storage, management, security, and hybrid/public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Skilled at turning complex technical topics into clear, persuasive presentations for any audience.
  • Proven track record in commercial prospecting and leading account portfolios as a technical orchestrator.
  • Sharp listener—quick to decode client needs, even when not clearly expressed.
  • Creative problem-solver, passionate about innovation and tech trends like AI and cybersecurity.
  • True team player, thriving in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
  • Exceptional communicator in both French (native) and English—written and spoken.
  • Ready and willing to travel nationally and internationally as needed
