Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and technically adept Infrastructure Manager to oversee our 24X7 IT infrastructure support which includes Windows, Unix, storage, databases, and middleware systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and optimizing IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

Job Requirements

  • Infrastructure Management:
  • Lead the infra support of NetApp's IT infrastructure, including Windows and Unix servers, storage solutions, databases, and middleware.
    Ensure the infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure to support business operations.
    Technical Expertise:
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on Windows and Unix system administration, storage management, database administration, and middleware configuration.
    Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to infrastructure components in a 24X7 setup
  • Team Leadership:
  • Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing direction, support, and development opportunities.
    Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
    Project Management:
  • Plan and execute infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
    Coordinate with other IT and business teams to align infrastructure initiatives with organizational goals.
    Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
  • Monitor infrastructure performance using Logic Monitor, Zenoss and other Observability tools to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
    Enforce policies and procedures for infrastructure management, including backup and disaster recovery plans.
    Vendor Management:
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure and maintain infrastructure hardware and software.
    Evaluate and manage vendor performance to ensure service levels are met.
    Security and Compliance:
  • Govern security measures to protect the organization's data and infrastructure.
    Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Technical Skills:
    He / she should be proficient in at least one of the below skills
    Proficiency in Windows Server and Unix/Linux administration.
    Strong knowledge of NetApp storage technologies, database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Mongo), and middleware (OCI, OIC).
    Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Soft Skills:
    Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications:
    Relevant certifications such as ITIL, or similar are highly desirable.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a strong technical background in Windows and Unix systems, storage solutions, databases, and middleware.
Proven experience in leading and managing IT teams.
