Job Summary
As a part of the Quality Compliance and Analytics (QCA) team, the Business Analyst will be responsible for creating metrics and generating reports. Working closely with stakeholders from the Engineering and Support departments, the Business Analyst will contribute to the development of tools utilizing the generated metrics. Additionally, perform statistical analysis to drive improvements in Product and Support, all while taking into consideration business requirements.

Primary Skills:
- Strong RDBMS skills which include writing complex SQL queries using MS SQL Server and Oracle and the ability to work with multiple data sources like Snowflake.
- Good knowledge of Python
- Strong knowledge of Shell scripting in UNIX
- Secondary Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerBI
- Data mining using Dremio, Hadoop technologies Hive, Spark/Scala, and other databases.
- Create business requirements documents working with multiple stakeholders in the Engineering and Support organization.
- Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using Oracle, Spark, SQL, and other big data technologies.
- Report on data analysis findings regularly to engineers and analysts within the org and external teams.
- Present approaches and findings using analytical and problem-solving skills effectively.
- Have a good understanding of Storage products, Software development, and Support operation processes.
Education
- Bachelors or Masters of Science degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics
- Must have at least 8-12 years of experience
