Essential Functions:
-Collaborate with faculty and fellow researchers to design and conduct experiments in the field of microbiology, human health, chemistry, material sciences.
-Develop innovative solutions for healthcare challenges through the application of engineering principles.
-Analyze and interpret experimental data and contribute to the publication of research findings.
-Engage in scientific discussions and present research findings at conferences and seminars.
-Contribute to the supervision and mentoring of undergraduate students.
-Participate in grant writing opportunities and contribute to the overall academic environment.
Prerequisite Qualifications:
-Hold a PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering, or a related field such as Microbiology, Human health, Chemistry, Material Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Biosciences, and Biomedical physics.
-Strong academic record and research background.
-Demonstrated proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific writing.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Flexible with working in both Stanford University and NJIT.
-At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
